🧭 Introduction

Veo 3.1, Kling 4.0, Grok Imagine, Seedance, Wan, MiniMax H3, Runway and Luma side by side: clip length, resolution, sound and API price, checked Nov 2026.

The AI video models that matter in November 2026 are Google's Veo 3.1 family (and its successor in Google's own apps, Gemini Omni), Kling 4.0, xAI's Grok Imagine 1.5, ByteDance's Seedance 2.5, Alibaba's Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, Runway Gen-4.5, Luma Ray3.2 and Pika 2.5. Most now generate sound with the picture, and single clips run from 4 to 30 seconds. OpenAI's Sora 2 is gone: the app closed on 26 April 2026 and the API on 24 September 2026. Plainly, for the record: ASMRIFY renders free previews on Grok 1.5 and paid clips on Google's Veo 3.1 Lite. Every figure below comes from the makers' own pages, checked on 3 November 2026.

Model-by-model notes

Veo 3.1 (Google). Three tiers of the same model: Veo 3.1 for the highest quality (up to 4K), Fast for speed, and Lite as the cheapest, at 720p or 1080p. All three generate audio with the video and accept text, an image, or a first and last frame. Clips can be extended 7 seconds at a time on Google Cloud. In the Gemini app, Gemini Omni has replaced Veo, and the Gemini API retired its Veo 3.1 preview models on 22 October 2026; Veo 3.1 is still sold on Google Cloud and offered in Google Flow to subscribers.

Kling 4.0 (Kuaishou). The longest single generation in this list, up to 30 seconds, with two-channel stereo sound. Kuaishou had not published an API price for 4.0 when we checked; Kling 3.0, released in February 2026 with clips up to 15 seconds, has one.

Grok Imagine 1.5 (xAI). Up to 15 seconds and 1080p, with native audio. A cheaper Lite version exists. In xAI's own Grok app, video is listed from the paid Premium plan.

Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance). Up to 30 seconds per generation with joint audio and video, available worldwide through ByteDance's Dreamina and to developers through BytePlus ModelArk. See the Seedance section below.

Wan 3.0 (Alibaba). Up to 30 seconds at 1080p with audio on by default. Alibaba has published open weights for the older Wan 2.2 family under the Apache 2.0 licence, but not for 3.0.

MiniMax H3. Up to 15 seconds with native stereo audio. MiniMax opened the 768p weights in August 2026; the 2K module stays closed. Its consumer app is Hailuo.

Runway Gen-4.5. Clips of 2 to 10 seconds on the API at 720p. Runway's app also resells other makers' models, including Veo, Kling and Seedance.

Luma Ray3.2. 5 or 10-second clips with native HDR and 16-bit EXR export, aimed at film workflows, and no generated audio.

Pika 2.5. The cheapest list price here, from 0.02 USD a second at 480p, with sound sold separately.

Seedance: what it is, and why ASMRIFY does not offer it

Seedance is ByteDance's video model family. Seedance 2.0 arrived in February 2026 and drew cease-and-desist letters from Disney and Paramount, while the Motion Picture Association accused ByteDance of using U.S. copyrighted works without authorisation on a massive scale; ByteDance said it respects intellectual property rights. Runway offered Seedance 2.0 only outside the US. Seedance 2.5 followed on 31 July 2026. You can use Seedance through Dreamina and other apps that license it. ASMRIFY does not offer Seedance, at any tier.

Which models ASMRIFY uses

  • Free tier: Grok 1.5 (xAI). A 4-second, 480p clip with the ASMRIFY watermark, posted to the public gallery, while the weekly free pool lasts.
  • Paid plans: Veo 3.1 Lite (Google). 8 seconds at 720p, with sound generated together with the picture, no watermark, private to your account. Try it on the Veo 3.1 Lite video generator.
  • One exception: the free-form ASMR creator also has a Production option that runs on Kling 3.0.

ASMRIFY does not run Sora, Runway, Luma, Pika, Seedance or Wan. The clip generators name their model on their own pages, and the specs are the same across the AI video generator, Prompt to Video and Image to Video.

How to choose a model

  • You need sound: Veo 3.1, Kling, Grok Imagine, Seedance, Wan or MiniMax H3. Luma and Pika's API do not generate it.
  • You need long single shots: Kling 4.0, Seedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0, up to 30 seconds. For anything longer, you join clips: see how to make long AI videos.
  • You need low cost per clip: Veo 3.1 Lite, Grok Imagine Lite or Pika at the low resolutions.
  • You want to run it yourself: Wan 2.2 or MiniMax H3, which have open weights.
  • You want realism: the prompt matters as much as the model. Our guide to realistic AI videos shows the prompt patterns, and the free AI video prompt generator builds them.
