Hello... [pause] my name is Cole... [pause] and I am running for PRESIDENT. [long pause] From the moment I joined NJHS... [pause] I saw how deeply the leaders cared about making a REAL DIFFERENCE in our school. [pause] And if I'm being completely honest... I didn't get it. [pause] I thought of NJHS as a chore that I had to do every month... but as I got more hours... and interacted with the community... I started to LOVE NJHS... and look forward to getting my hours. [pause] And I want all of you guys to feel the SAME WAY as I do. [long pause] You have all worked incredibly hard to be here... and you deserve a president who will make NJHS a MEANINGFUL AND DYNAMIC SOCIETY. [pause] NJHS should never feel like just a checklist for signatures or hours... it should inspire us to make a REAL IMPACT in our community and our school. [pause] I know what it's like to feel like NJHS is just another task... but I am TRULY COMMITTED to changing that. [long pause] If you choose me as your president... I will make sure every meeting is INTERACTIVE, ENGAGING, AND WORTHWHILE. [pause] I am determined to uphold the pillars and values of NJHS... and to create opportunities that make you PROUD TO BE A MEMBER. [long pause] Thank you for listening...
